About
A short editorial site with one job: comparing UK casinos honestly.
Player List Room is small on purpose. It exists to compare licensed UK operators in plain English — nothing more.
Who runs the site
Player List Room is put together by a small UK-based editorial team with more than a decade of combined experience covering online gaming for consumer publications. The editorial voice is deliberately one person’s — the site reads as one considered opinion, not a committee’s.
What we do — and what we don’t
We review and compare UKGC-licensed online casinos, and we publish evergreen explainers around how the industry works. That’s the whole job. We don’t run games, hold player funds, process deposits or withdrawals, provide account support, or take part in any gameplay. If you need help with an account, you talk to the operator directly — we have no visibility into your account and no ability to act on it.
How the site is funded
Player List Room is an affiliate site. When a reader signs up for an operator through one of our partner links, the operator may pay us a commission at no cost to that reader. That is the entire revenue model, and it’s the reason every partner link on the site carries an Ad · 18+ · T&Cs apply tag next to it.
The obvious question that raises: does affiliate money buy nicer reviews? It doesn’t. The order of operators on the homepage and the wording of each write-up are decided by the editor. Several brands that pay the highest commissions in the UK market are not on this site because the editorial team didn’t think they earned a spot. That’s the honest version of the promise.
Why the focus on mobile
The vast majority of UK casino play happens on a phone. That’s not a guess — it’s public in the UKGC’s participation research. Building the whole comparison around mobile and app experience means the review reflects how people actually use these sites, not a desktop demo they never see.
Corrections and complaints
If something on the site is wrong — a licence detail, a studio credit, a factual mistake in a description — write to editor@playerlistroom.comand we’ll fix it, credit the correction and re-date the page. If you have a concern about an operator listed here, please raise it with the UKGC directly.
